Desert Sessions

Las "Desert Sessions", son reuniones creadas por Josh Homme en 1997, en las que participan el y sus amigos, provenientes de diferentes bandas.
El proyecto original contemplaba 12 volúmenes, y 13 seria un recopilatorio y B sides, pero después del 6º el sello Man's Ruin Records se fue a la quiebra, y el proyecto quedo estancado.
Homme y Lydia Rusell en 2001 crean el sello Rekord Rekords, retomando así el trabajo, y completando hasta la 10º entrega.
En estas Sesiones, han desfilados grandes músicos de diversas Bandas tales como: QOTSA, PJ Harvey, Monster Magnet Kyuss, Goatsnake, Soundgarden, Fu Manchu, The Vandals, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Hole Mötley Crue, entre otros.
